Guido Companies Sets Down Roots in Texas Hill Country
Chris Guido, President of Guido Materials, and Cosmo Guido, President of Guido Construction, announce the opening of a new Window and Door Showroom and Commercial and Residential Construction offices in Fredericksburg, Texas on Wednesday, November 9th. The new flagship showroom, located at the corner of State Highway 16 and Friendship Lane, will carry premier window and door brands such as Marvin, Western, La Cantina, Arcadia and more. “We are proud and excited to open this new location to serve the Texas Hill Country,” said Guido.
“We have been servicing clients in the Hill Country for many years and we are excited to provide this new showroom as a resource for the area.”
Guido Materials is a 4th generation lumber, window and door company servicing San Antonio and the surrounding area since 1947. Opening a showroom in Fredericksburg seemed like a “natural next step for Guido Materials,” said Guido. “With so much growth in the area, we took note of all of the Hill Country clients we were serving and began our search for a piece of property a few years ago.” That search led Guido to 1328 S. State Hwy 16. “Fortunately, our older ‘sister’ company, Guido Construction, was able to complete the construction process for us. Unfortunately, a pandemic hit, which caused some delays not only with construction, but also with the shipment of our showroom displays. Those issues are behind us now and we are excited to officially open our doors.”
Guido Companies is no stranger to Fredericksburg. “Guido Construction built the Altsadt Brewery and currently has several commercial construction projects in and around town,” says Cosmo Guido, President of Guido Construction. So much opportunity afforded Guido Companies to officially name a ‘Guido Hill Country’ division that includes Guido Construction Commercial and Residential services. Guido Construction offices and Materials Showroom are located at 1328 S. State Hwy 16 in Fredericksburg.
